From the very inception in 1979, members of ABFA, Kolkata have celebrated the release of every film of Amitji with as much festivity as is done in Diwali, Eid or Christmas. Actually, the very news of the release of Amitji’s film brings with it a message of sheer joy and excitement and members of ABFA gears up and engage themselves to celebrate the release of every film in a colorful manner. Garlanding cut-outs, organising processions, adorning the entire area (adjacent to the cine-house) with posters, banners, chanting slogans, distributing sweetmeats have always made the release of each & every film of Amitji so very special.
