This very song reverberates in the minds & hearts of members of ABFA, Kolkata whenever they have organised protest rallies & programmes. Members of the association virtually waged a war against the malicious attempt of defaming the living legends Sri AMITABH BACHCHAN & Sri SACHIN TENDULKAR through an advertisement by ‘SPRITE’ ( a product of Coca-Cola company). Protest rallies & dharnas were organised & clarion call was given to boycott ‘Coca-Cola’ when eventually, the multinational admitted their ‘unintentional’ mistake [as per the company sources].
Similarly, members of ABFA, Kolkata protested & condemned the comments of Sri Raj Thackeray hurting the sentiments of North Indians including the Super Icon Sri AMITABH BACHCHAN. Sri Raj Thackeray himself acknowledged & released statement that he had no intention to hurt the living legend & the Icon Sri AMITABH BACHCHAN.
Members of ABFA, Kolkata have also similarly protested & had vent their anger through agitation, protest rallies whenever cases of social or gender discrimination have been noticed. Members of the association have also engaged themselves in sincere efforts to maintain communal harmony & peaceful co-existence & have protested whenever any attempts of disruption & provocation have been noticed.
